ENGRAVING
This leather luggage tag features a laser-engraved outline of the state of your choice with text that reads: "There's no place like home." The placement of the text will vary slightly, depending on the shape of the state selected.
 
Please note that laser-engraving may have a dark brown or black tone to it, depending on the color of leather selected. See our “Laser-Engraved Color Examples” for sample representations of how engraving looks on each leather color option.

COLOR
Select from the following stain colors for the luggage tag:

HARDWARE
Choose between silver- or gold-toned hardware. (The eyelet and ball chain are made of nickel- or brass-plated steel.)

SIZE
The luggage tag measures 1 1/2" wide by 3" tall. The chain measures 6" in full length when not fastened and adds approximately 2 1/4" to the tag's overall length when fastened.

LEATHER
We use premium full-grain, veg-tanned Italian leather for our luggage tags. The leather thickness is 5 ounces and it has a medium firmness. There is a somewhat rustic-looking texture with slight variegation to the color tone across the surface of the leather. Each piece of leather is unique and may exhibit a different “pattern” or markings. As noted above, color may vary slightly due to variations in screens and leather.
 
The leather is finished with a satin resin which gives a slight sheen to the surface while offering some protection and added durability for the piece, helping to ensure its longevity. We also burnish the edges of the luggage tags to give them a smooth, finished appearance. Although it is not waterproof, light moisture is fine.
